Police officers dispatched to a home in Ashdod following reports of gunfire were surprised to discover the true cause: a woman had turned on her oven, unaware that her partner had hidden a handgun and ammunition inside, which subsequently exploded. The Israel Police has opened an investigation.

According to the prosecutor in California, they deposited small amounts to avoid reporting requirements.
