First publication: Police expose gambling house inside a pub in Kiryat Malachi
Officers from the Kiryat Malachi station have exposed a pub allegedly used for illegal gambling. The Southern District Commander has signed a 30-day administrative closure order, and the business owner has been detained for questioning.
Southern District Commander, Nitzav Haim Bublil, has signed an administrative closure order for a pub in Kiryat Malachi that was being used for illegal gambling. As part of a focused enforcement operation by Kiryat Malachi police officers against gambling offenses and major crime generators in the city, authorities exposed a business operating as an illegal gambling house.
Following these findings, licensing officers from the Kiryat Malachi station and the Lachish region took action to close the premises, and Nitzav Haim Bublil signed an administrative closure order for a period of 30 days.
The business owner was detained for questioning, interrogated at the police station, and subsequently released under restrictive conditions. Upon completion of the investigation, the file will be transferred to the Southern District licensing prosecution unit to evaluate the filing of an indictment and the permanent closure of the business pending the conclusion of legal proceedings.
