Planning committees have approved a 1,700-apartment project in Ramla's industrial zone and a new student dormitory complex at the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot.

An 82-year-old woman, threatened real estate agents, and homeowners who, according to the indictment, realized they had no choice. The prosecution claims that Ismail Abu Ghanem and six others took over five apartments in Ramla through extortion, violence, and protection money collection, and then hid the ownership through fraud and money laundering of millions of shekels.
