Manchester City suffered a 3-1 defeat against Nottingham Forest, marking their third consecutive loss after a seven-game winning streak at the start of the season. The gap with league leaders Arsenal has now widened to six points, raising serious concerns among former players and coaching staff.

Former striker Paul Dickov admitted the team needs a reset. "It is time to make a change," he told the club's official studio. "Maybe we should give some rest to the players who are not going to international duty, mainly to recover mentally. And then we come back from the break with full force."

Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp expressed his surprise at the outcome. "Forest won every single duel, their players were aggressive, and I am very happy for Liam Delap, who put on a fantastic performance," Redknapp noted.

Manager Enzo Maresca did not sugarcoat the reality. "I will speak very clearly. In the first half, we failed to match the intensity of the opponent and lost every battle. We wanted to react later, but it was already too late. We must not wait until conceding two goals to start playing."

Jérémy Doku, who scored City's only goal, added: "We did not start the match well, and it is always difficult to come back from behind away from home against such teams. We must improve quickly."
