Hapoel Holon is facing a major shake-up as sports director Daniel Ravitz announced his resignation on Saturday morning. The club management initially resisted the request but ultimately accepted it following discussions.

In an official statement, the club expressed gratitude for his contributions: "We thank Daniel for his time at the club and wish him success in his future professional and personal endeavors. Our doors will always remain open for future cooperation."

Ravitz's departure comes as the club contemplates parting ways with head coach Predrag Krunic following a dismal start to the domestic season, which yielded just one victory in five league matches. Meanwhile, Holon prepares for a crucial BCL matchup against Germany's Rasta Vechta on Tuesday, holding a strong position in the group with two wins from three games.

Ravitz was appointed sports director this past summer after serving in the same capacity for several years at Hapoel Beersheba. Previously, he worked as the CEO of Ironi Ness Ziona and as a basketball player agent.
