A man arrested on suspicion of starting a massive wildfire in Washington state, USA, confessed to investigators that he waited for a hot, dry, and windy day to ignite the fire. 37-year-old Aaron Prinachi also took responsibility for 25 other arsons in the area over the past year, according to released court documents.

US authorities have arrested a 37-year-old man on suspicion of igniting one of the destructive wildfires currently raging in Washington state. Aaron F. Prinachi is being held on a $1 million bond.

Massive wildfires have broken out across at least 10 locations in Spokane, Washington. Thousands of families have been evacuated, with at least 600 structures destroyed as a state of emergency is declared.
