After more than 40 years of marriage, an ultra-Orthodox woman accused her spouse of financial abuse, an affair funded by joint assets, and hiding assets. However, the court rejected her demands.

A mother of an 8-year-old girl was required to pay 150 shekels for every cancellation of a meeting between the child and her father. He sued to raise the amount to 1,000 shekels, but the court ruled: “An extreme and draconian demand.”

A Jerusalem court ruled that a penthouse worth approximately four million shekels, which the husband had hidden, must be included in the property division process despite a prenuptial agreement.

As part of the separation proceedings between the parents, the father requested that their son continue in a secular framework. However, a judge relied on professionals and accepted the request of the religious mother.

A woman whose relatives were kidnapped argued that the cessation of intimate relations on October 7, 2023, should mark the date for property division. The court ruled that family dissolution is determined by the totality of circumstances, including economic separation, and set the date of rupture to January 2025.

The Safed Family Court has ordered a mother to pay 180,000 shekels in damages for parental alienation. The court found that the mother systematically thwarted the children's relationship with their father.
