The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court ruled that the Zemer Local Council and the telecommunications company Bezeq are liable for an incident that led to a pregnant woman's miscarriage. The court apportioned 80% of the liability to the council and 20% to Bezeq.

Bezeq has upgraded its 2026 net profit and EBITDA forecasts due to improved business performance. The company now expects net profit to reach between 1.15 and 1.2 billion shekels.

Yesterday, the stock exchange closed with a mixed trend: the TA-35 index fell by 0.3%, while the TA-90 index advanced by 0.7%. Arbitrage gaps in dual-listed stocks are expected to weigh on the TA-35 index by about 0.41% at the opening. The dollar exchange rate stands at around 3 shekels, and oil prices are recording slight declines.

Bezeq finished a successful quarter and will distribute 515 million shekels to shareholders: 415 million shekels in cash and 100 million shekels through a share buyback.

The group's core revenues — excluding telephony at Bezeq Fixed-Line, cellular services at Pelephone, private customers at Bezeq International, and revenues from Bezeq Online — amounted to approximately 2.03 billion shekels, an increase of about 4%. Total revenues rose by 1.4% to approximately 2.17 billion shekels.

Bezeq published its Q2 2026 results: core revenues rose by 4% to 2.03 billion shekels, and net profit jumped by 38% to 315 million shekels. The company announced a 515 million shekel distribution.
