Benny Dreyfus

Minister of Finance Bezalel Smotrich has appointed Benny Dreyfus, who recently resigned as CEO of Mifal HaPais, as the new chairman of the state-owned EAPC. He is set to assume the role in September.

Due to negligent work by Mifal HaPayis that disrupted the draw results and caused thousands of bettors to lose money, the losers filed a request for a class action lawsuit against the company in court. Mifal HaPayis denied the claims.

Adv. Benny Dreyfus informed the board of directors today that he is stepping down, having led the organization's emergency operations since the outbreak of the war.
