Barzilai Hospital

Kiryat Gat police, supported by Southern District intelligence, have arrested two local residents suspected of involvement in a July shooting. The covert investigation began after a gunshot victim arrived at Barzilai Hospital and refused to cooperate with authorities. Police have since seized an electric scooter believed to have been used in the crime.

For Lital Shemesh, the past weekend was quite dramatic after she was rushed to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. Following a series of tests, she was discharged and returned to work the very next day.

The incident involved three buses on David Remez Street in Ashkelon. The bus driver and passengers were unharmed. Police have launched an investigation into the circumstances of the event.

MDA medics and paramedics provided medical treatment to the wounded man at the scene. He was evacuated to Barzilai Hospital while sedated and intubated, suffering from a penetrating injury.

Around 21:00, a report was received at the Magen David Adom dispatch center regarding a man in his 20s wounded by gunfire on Yitzhak Sadeh Street. Medical teams evacuated him to Barzilai Hospital in serious condition with a penetrating wound.
