Drama on Channel 14 before broadcast: Presenter rushed to hospital
For Lital Shemesh, the past weekend was quite dramatic after she was rushed to the hospital with severe abdominal pain. Following a series of tests, she was discharged and returned to work the very next day.

From the hospital straight to the studio: Channel 14 presenter Lital Shemesh went through a stormy weekend that started with a medical drama and ended with a smile and a crispy pastry.
It began on Friday evening, when Shemesh felt sudden and severe abdominal pain that led her to the emergency room at Barzilai Hospital in Ashkelon. After a series of tests and several hours of treatment, she was released to go home. Like a true professional, she did not let the event disrupt her work routine: by Saturday night, she was back in the studio, presenting the live broadcast as usual.
The amusing twist came immediately after the show. Despite her emergency room visit just a day earlier, Shemesh decided to treat herself and stopped at a bakery. In a story she uploaded to her Instagram account alongside a picture of a hot bourekas, she shared with humor: "Yesterday I arrived at the emergency room with stomach pains. Today I am returning from a broadcast and stopping at a bakery to load up on bourekas."

In a conversation with TMI, Shemesh reassured her fans: "Nothing dramatic happened. I had stomach pains, I was there for a few hours, I was released home and everything is fine, thank God," she concluded with optimism.
