Man Seriously Injured in Violent Incident in Sderot

A man in his 30s was seriously injured in a violent incident in Sderot.
At 05:38, a report was received at the MDA 101 emergency center in the Lachish district regarding a man who was brought to the MDA station in Sderot after being injured in a violent incident. Medics and paramedics provided him with medical treatment and evacuated him to Barzilai Hospital while sedated and intubated, suffering from a penetrating injury.
MDA paramedic Ariel Elbaz said: 'The wounded man was brought to our station suffering from a penetrating injury. We provided him with medical treatment that included stopping bleeding and administering medication, and we evacuated him in an MDA intensive care ambulance to the hospital in serious but stable condition, while sedated and intubated.'
On Friday evening, a young man in his 20s was seriously injured as a result of a shooting incident on Yitzhak Sadeh Street in the city. The police have opened an investigation into the incident and stated that the background to the event is criminal.
