Former Beit Shemesh mayor Aliza Bloch, now with the "Ha-Achdut" party, has unveiled a comprehensive education reform plan. Her agenda includes empowering principals, introducing personal contracts for top teachers, and replacing the 12th grade with a "national preparatory year."

New parties and political alliances boast, and rightly so, of the women joining them, but it is hard not to notice a common denominator: most of them are relatively young, solid, and many are presented under the title that has become the 'bon ton' of the election campaign — 'social activist'.

After stating that she does not rule out sitting with Arab representatives and subsequently ruling out a partnership with Ra'am, Aliza Bloch explains her red lines, addresses the polls, and defends the new alliance of Gilad Erdan and Yuli Edelstein.

In a speech delivered in Beit Shemesh, during which he also announced the official joining of Knesset member Aliza Bloch to the party's ranks, the former Israeli ambassador to the UN launched his new party. Erdan explained that the party is named this way "not because we agree on everything, but because there is no other choice."

The alliance between Aliza Bloch and Gilad Erdan has sparked a behind-the-scenes conflict with members of the Tzur Yisrael party. Founded by young people and reservists, the party is now demanding that Bloch settle campaign expenses totaling over 200,000 shekels.

They have experience, public sympathy, and zero controversy. So how is it that the prestige list of Likud defectors and Aliza Bloch is barely scraping the electoral threshold?

The party aims for the former mayor of Beit Shemesh, considered a consensus figure, to attract undecided voters and help forge alliances within the "third bloc." Bloch is the first to join the former minister, who is currently not passing the electoral threshold in polls.
