The Muslim organization CAIR removed from its website a teacher's manual claiming that relations with Israel caused the terrorist attack in which thousands of Americans were murdered. The program described the terrorists who carried out the September 11 attacks as a "group that identified as Al-Qaeda and came from the mountains of Afghanistan," but did not explicitly define them as terrorists.

The largest Muslim-American organization in the US released a school guide justifying the 9/11 attacks due to 'US support for Israel' and recommending Osama bin Laden's antisemitic manifesto. The Jewish community was outraged: 'This is not inclusion - this is dangerous propaganda.'

Bassam Bouchehra, a senior official at the Canadian public broadcaster CBC, issued a demand to all network reporters to refer to the deadliest terrorist attack in history as "hijackings that led to the crashing of passenger planes." Conservative Member of Parliament Rachel Thomas called the directive "absolutely shameful."

American actress Patricia Heaton, who witnessed the September 11 attacks in New York, has joined families of victims calling for New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to be barred from the 25th-anniversary memorial ceremony. The 'Everybody Loves Raymond' star shared the petition, which has garnered nearly 45,000 signatures, urging organizers to exclude the mayor.
