Prominent Israeli technology journalist Yinon Ben Shushan, 33, is joining the Economic Channel as its chief technology correspondent and host of the flagship tech program "404".
Ben Shushan brings nearly 17 years of media experience, having started his career at age 15. He has built a loyal following of some 70,000 on Instagram and gained international recognition after being invited three times to Apple launch events in the USA for exclusive coverage from Israel. Over the years, he has held key roles at major outlets including nrg, Israel Hayom, mako, and Keshet 12, and spent the last five years as the technology editor for Walla.
His appointment comes a month after his departure from Walla, following a wave of exits and a critical social media post where he lamented a shift toward clickbait, volume, and AI-generated texts. Now, Ben Shushan embarks on a new chapter, bringing his expertise to television screens across Israel.
