The Magnum Bar pop-up officially opened today (Sunday) at Big Fashion Glilot after a five-year absence. From now until August 7, you can enjoy elaborate and exclusive versions of Magnum ice cream bars, featuring flavor and texture combinations not found in standard freezers, all named after gemstones. Each of the five specially designed bars costs 18 NIS and comes topped with a flavored chocolate "gemstone."

These desserts reflect significant thought, aesthetic care, and culinary creativity. However, be prepared for crowds; the lines are expected to be long. We tasted them all, and here is our verdict:

Black Onyx: Magnum Classic with a dark chocolate diamond, dark chocolate drizzle, crushed hazelnut, black sesame crumble, Maldon salt flakes, and a gold splash. This is undoubtedly the most dramatic version in appearance, though it is the least surprising in flavor. It will appeal to dark chocolate lovers and a more mature palate.

Ruby: White chocolate Magnum with a raspberry diamond, ruby chocolate drizzle, raspberry and strawberry crunch, and meringue kisses. The first bite reveals a successful, tart, and fresh bar. It is not overly sweet and is quite enjoyable.

Emerald: Chocolate Magnum with a pistachio diamond, white chocolate drizzle, kadaif strands, pistachio chips, toasted sesame, and Maldon salt. This is a fresh take on the "Dubai chocolate" trend. It is intensely pistachio-flavored, surprisingly balanced, and not overloaded with toppings. It is arguably the most successful pistachio dessert of the year.

Amber: Magnum Classic with a caramel diamond, maple drizzle, gold feuilletine, sugar crystals, and peanuts. It is very caramelly, tasty, and visually sparkling with fun texture combinations. It takes second place in our top five.

Citrine: White chocolate Magnum with a lemon diamond, white chocolate drizzle, lemon crunch, coconut clouds, whipped cream shards, dried mint, and grated lemon peel. This is the clear winner of the tasting. It is refreshing, tart, summery, and surprising, with the most successful flavor profile.

In honor of Tu B'Av, and for one week only, you can also try Magnum Love—a dessert featuring two Magnum bars, cherry-flavored white chocolate drizzle, vanilla cream, and a crunchy coating of feuilletine, almond chips, and powdered sugar, centered with a heart-shaped cherry-flavored white chocolate praline.

Beyond the ice cream, the complex features an interactive fashion track with a treadmill and a green screen for photos, plus a pop-up store selling merchandise from brand ambassadors: hats by Kim Or Azulay, shirts by SYMI (in collaboration with Tomer Talias), and sunglasses designed by singer Frida (in collaboration with OBO). Magnum-branded beach bags, pareos, and keychains are also available.

The Magnum Bar is a well-executed collaboration that blends fashion, celebrity, and style. It is a powerful attraction that will surely delight young influencers who love fashion and sweets.
