Stock donations have emerged as a significant channel in Israeli philanthropy, with data from the Jgive donation platform showing a 30-fold surge in such contributions between 2023 and 2025. Over the past three years, stock donations by public companies totaled approximately 150 million shekels.

Prominent donors in 2026 include Nachman Bensheya, a senior executive at Next Vision, who contributed about 10 million shekels, following a similar donation last year, and Avraham Fox, co-owner of the Fox Group, who donated approximately 2.5 million shekels. About a quarter of the donations consist of shares in technology companies such as Nvidia, Apple, and Google, with more than half coming from repeat donors.

Data from Jgive, led by CEO Ori Ben-Shlomo, also indicates that by the end of the third quarter of 2026, the volume of donations already matched the total recorded for the entire year of 2025. In August and September alone, the number of stock donations was three times higher than in the same period last year, pointing to a significant year-over-year increase.
