Strategic Merger in the Advertising Industry

A major strategic move is reshaping the Israeli media and advertising market as two leading post-production and visual effects companies join forces under one roof. The merger brings together Gravity, led by owner Yoram Altman and Chief Creative and Innovation Officer Yoav Sabriago, and Shortcut Playground, led by designer Adam Feinberg and CEO Naor Ron.

The collaboration is designed to create a unified group that will support brands and advertising agencies through all stages of creation, from the initial concept to the final product. As part of this initiative, the two companies will establish a comprehensive framework encompassing creative, production, post-production, and interactive services.

The merger was born against the backdrop of rapid changes in the advertising and creative worlds, driven largely by artificial intelligence and new technologies that require high-volume content production on tight schedules.

New Executive Appointments in Tech and Law

In corporate developments, Ziv Hammar has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Connectivity and Sensing Division at CEVA, a Nasdaq-listed communications company.

Meanwhile, the law firm S. Horowitz & Co. (Shibolet) has welcomed four new partners to strengthen its expanding departments:

  • Adv. Lance Blumenthal in infrastructure, project finance, and energy.

  • Adv. Inbar Friedman in venture capital within the high-tech department.

  • Adv. Eli Elias in municipal authorities and local government bodies within the real estate department.

  • Adv. Pninit Cohen in labor law.

Longevity Trends and Market Figures

The acceleration of the longevity sector has prompted the 'Ad 120' network to launch 'Longevity Team', a three-month personal and group track for senior citizens at a complex in Tel Aviv. The initiative highlights a growing market trend toward preventive health and wellness for older adults.

In financial markets, enterprise software giant NICE could receive up to $2 billion from Canadian investment giant Brookfield for its financial crime and compliance fintech subsidiary, Actimize.
