Cellcom Announces Leadership Change: New CEO Appointed for Safeway Subsidiary
Following the departure of Sivan Shoshan Lisha, Cellcom has appointed Sharon Ezra as the new CEO of Safeway, its cyber and information security subsidiary. Group CEO Eli Adadi stated that Ezra's extensive experience will be instrumental in strengthening the company's market position.
The Cellcom group has announced the appointment of Sharon Ezra as CEO of Safeway, the group's subsidiary specializing in cyber solutions, information security, system protection, and managed services for organizations. Ezra replaces Sivan Shoshan Lisha, who requested to step down from her role within the group.
This appointment is part of a series of strategic initiatives led by Cellcom to expand its footprint in the business sector. Recent moves include a deal to supply communication infrastructure for Nevios server farms, which operate within the Mega DC data center complexes owned by the Mega Or group across the country.
By scaling operations in communications, IT infrastructure, data centers, cloud services, and cybersecurity, Cellcom continues to solidify its position as a leading technological partner for Israeli organizations, offering comprehensive end-to-end solutions.
Safeway provides cyber and information security services to enterprise clients and leads end-to-end projects in IT infrastructure and managed services. Ezra brings over 20 years of experience in communications, integration, and cybersecurity. Previously, he served as VP of Business Solutions at Bezeq International, where he managed business operations with an annual volume exceeding 600 million NIS and led a team of approximately 220 employees and managers.
