Yedidim

A Tel Aviv court is reviewing a class-action suit against the Yedidim non-profit over unsolicited fundraising texts. The judge questioned the class size and the use of charity funds for compensation.

The call was received in the afternoon at the Yedidim dispatch center, following a blow the woman sustained from a dresser in her home on HaGiborim Street in Netivot. Using specialized equipment, the volunteer managed to free the finger from the ring.

Dogs were locked in a vehicle at a gas station on Hebron Road in Be'er Sheva while their owner was refueling. A Yedidim volunteer who happened to be on-site rescued the animals quickly using specialized equipment without damaging the vehicle.
