An Iranian singer was sentenced to four years in prison after performing before a mixed audience in Tehran, and another singer was sentenced to 74 lashes after singing without a hijab. Human rights organizations warn of increasing pressure on women in the world of music and art in the country.

Ahoo Daryaei, a young mother of two, stunned the world in 2024 when she undressed in protest against morality police at a Tehran university. An acquaintance has revealed the abuse she has endured: choking, forced hospitalization, threats against her family, and ongoing injections of psychiatric drugs. "It is the only way forward for her to avoid torture or execution."

TV presenter and actress Yael Bar Zohar was surprised to discover that she has become part of a wave of vandalism against women, after a public billboard featuring her was defaced and her face painted black.

Disturbing footage from Arad sparked a storm after a Haredi man was seen vandalizing photos of women on billboards. Following the incident, a complaint was filed with the police. Mayor Yair Maayan: "We will not allow anyone to harm the public space and try to exclude women from the public space."
