Border Police (Magav) fighters arrested a 36-year-old resident of the Kalandia camp suspected of digging a tunnel shaft near the security fence. During interrogation, the suspect admitted he intended to infiltrate Israeli territory.

Following the political echelon's approval of significant offensive activities in Judea and Samaria, the IDF and Shin Bet have launched an operation in the Kalandia area. Security forces are conducting arrests and interrogations in the Kalandia camp and the village of Kafr Aqab.
