Against the backdrop of the Shin Bet joining the search efforts for Haymanot Kasau, hundreds of students and teachers in Migdal HaEmek opened the school year with a powerful event that deeply moved the mayor.

The President of the State told the Kasau family members that the head of the Shin Bet updated him that the organization recently entered the picture "with full force" following a request from the police. The father of the girl who has been missing for two and a half years: "We demanded that they intervene as soon as possible."

The President met with family members at the President's Residence and updated them on the cooperation between the police and the Israel Security Agency. "Haymanot is a child of the entire nation of Israel," said Herzog. The missing girl's father: "We demand intervention as soon as possible, we fear discrimination."

It has become known to Maariv that the association for Haymanot has launched a crowdfunding campaign titled "Bringing Haymanot Home." According to the campaign page, the funds are intended to finance the continuation of the searches, increase the monetary reward, and continue the public struggle.
