Elazar Stern

MK Elazar Stern resigned from the Knesset, delivering a highly critical letter to Speaker Amir Ohana accusing him of undermining the separation of powers. Ohana dismissed the letter as election propaganda.

10 days after leaving Lapid, the former minister joins the 'Yashar!' party of the former IDF Chief of Staff. 'Israel needs reliable, statesmanlike, and experienced leadership,' said Major General (res.) Stern. Eisenkot: 'He represents a statesmanlike religious Zionism that believes in service and responsibility.'

Member of Knesset Elazar Stern has announced his resignation from the Yesh Atid party and his intention to step down from the Knesset. He expressed his gratitude to party leader Yair Lapid for their years of partnership.
