Ofer Shelah harshly criticized the conduct of the IDF and the political echelon during the events in Qusra. He warned of the consequences of continuing the war for Israel's status and the army, claiming that on the eve of the elections, politicians prefer to "tell themselves a lie."

MK Naama Lazimi called the chairman of her party "one of the best security experts in Israel" and signaled the role she intends for him after the elections. She also criticized the unusual proceedings in the Finance Committee and attacked its chairman, Hanoch Milvitsky.

The chairman of The Democrats, Yair Golan, stated that if his party wins 15 mandates, he expects to serve as Minister of Defense. He also identified Gadi Eisenkot as the "natural candidate" for Prime Minister of the anti-Netanyahu bloc and criticized the performance of Shin Bet head David Zini.
