Nathan Kuperwasser was walking his dog at the market in Acre when, following a dispute between dogs, two young men attacked him with punches. He described: "Two brothers over one meter ninety tall arrived and tried to set their pit bull on me." The police managed to track down the attackers and arrest them.

The victim, a father who lost his daughter in the October 7 massacre, was attacked following a confrontation between his dog and another dog. Police quickly located and arrested the two suspects. The court has extended their detention.
