A resident of Yokneam discovered that gold jewelry worth approximately 60,000 shekels was stolen from her home. Upon checking the living room security camera, she was shocked to find that the intruder was her 54-year-old neighbor. An indictment has been filed against him for burglary, theft, and property damage.

The incident began when the homeowner noticed the disappearance of valuable jewelry and reviewed the footage from her indoor camera. The recording clearly showed the neighbor walking through the living room during the break-in. According to the indictment submitted by the Israel Police Northern District Prosecution to the Magistrate's Court in Nof HaGalil, the defendant entered the unoccupied home on October 20 at around 11:11 AM.

While the front door was locked, the suspect managed to break inside through an unspecified method. He proceeded to the master bedroom and took numerous valuables without permission, including 14-karat gold chains, a white gold necklace with a zircon pendant, a gold ring with a round diamond, set earrings, and a pearl necklace. The total value of the stolen items is estimated at 60,000 shekels.

The investigation took a turbulent turn at the Migdal HaEmek police station, where the suspect reportedly went on a rampage during questioning. He pushed officers, knocked over a computer monitor, and spilled a drink onto documents, causing damage to police paperwork.

Commander Kenan Azaaldin, head of the Migdal HaEmek station investigation branch, stated that the suspect violated the most private space of the victims. He noted that the security camera footage quickly led to his arrest, and after initially denying any connection to the apartment, the suspect remained silent once confronted with the video evidence.
