Yinon Magal is furious at David Amsalem: 'He decided he wants to lose the election'

At the beginning of their program on 103FM radio, Ben Caspit and Yinon Magal responded to the words of Minister David Amsalem, who said he would be happy to see the chairman of 'Yashar!', Gadi Eisenkot, in the Likud. Caspit said: 'I have a kind of secret affection for the guy from time to time. He is one of those who says what he thinks.' Magal argued: 'Yes, the problem is what he thinks, not what he says. There are guys in the Likud who decided they want to lose the election — David Amsalem decided he wants to lose the election, may he have success in the primaries. It is not the smartest thing in the world to say, besides the fact that it is not true. What makes Eisenkot suitable for the Likud? Because he is Moroccan? This is ethnic racism. Caspit replied: 'Barak Seri said he meant a housing project in Eilat. But I think it is more important to address what Amsalem said. We are a mosaic of people who came from thousands of places, low and high, we are all already mixed with everyone, and I hate this discourse. My affection for Amsalem is known, and despite that, the first libel suit I filed was against him. I actually think that the campaign of filth and defamation against Eisenkot works in reverse and hurts all those who see it. The very fact that he came from nowhere and started with three mandates and now he is at 23 mandates and is passing Netanyahu in suitability for Prime Minister. Amsalem is doing the opposite, and I think wisely, he is hugging Eisenkot and thus neutralizing him.' Magal interrupted him and said: 'He drank the mandates from Bennett, and in suitability for Prime Minister he does not pass Netanyahu according to Channel 14. Yesterday he said that the comparison of October 7th to the Holocaust is a manipulation by Netanyahu. Bibi went to all sorts of podcasts and we didn't hear such nonsense and rubbish.' Ben Caspit was surprised and claimed: 'Did you really just say that?
