Yaakov Bardugo: "Whoever establishes a party on Channel 12 does not belong to the Right"

The dramatic announcement of the establishment of a new party led by former minister Gilad Erdan and outgoing Knesset member Yuli Edelstein continues to cause a powerful storm in the political system, and especially within the right-wing camp.

Channel 14 commentator Yaakov Bardugo attacked the political move of the two with exceptional sharpness and clarified in a broadcast on 'Galey Israel' radio that in his view, they are not part of the right-wing camp at all.

"Everything there is personal and everything is political. They have chosen two new flags: 'Anyone but Bibi' and hatred of the ultra-Orthodox. These are two disappointed individuals who would not have been elected in any Likud primaries."

Bardugo also leveled sharp criticism at the method and the platform where the party was first revealed to the public, expressing condemnation of the politicians and Channel 12: "Whoever establishes a party on Channel 12 during a live broadcast, in my eyes, does not belong to the right-wing bloc. Edelstein is a nice man, but political life is not for him."

Summarizing his political assessment and his forecast for the upcoming elections, the commentator claimed that the new organization of the two will not succeed in leaving a significant mark at the ballot box: "In conclusion, they will not pass the electoral threshold, and they will take their votes from the Left."
