Under Terrorist Fire: Heroic Testimonies of Volunteers on October 7
Ichud Hatzalah volunteers recount their harrowing rescue missions under terrorist fire during the October 7 Hamas onslaught in the first episode of the documentary film "6:29".

Emergency responders from the Ichud Hatzalah organization rushed into active combat zones in the Gaza envelope as the Hamas terror onslaught began on October 7. The first episode of the documentary film "6:29" features harrowing personal testimonies from volunteers and their families, recounting the opening hours of the massacre and their resolute decision to risk their lives to save others.
At the center of the episode is the story of Giti Beer, who set out that terrible morning with her family—all Ichud Hatzalah volunteers—to save lives in the field. Amidst fierce battles and treating the wounded, the family confronted unbearable scenes and critically injured citizens who died in their hands. Alongside her is the story of Lior Ohana, a volunteer who left home to rescue people as the grave threat reached his doorstep.
Moments before heading into battle, Ohana told his wife not to open the door for anyone. Through the testimonies of Giti, Lior, and other volunteers, the episode revisits the grim encounter with death under terrorist fire and the deep trauma carried by these medical responders long after returning home.
