Towards the filing of an indictment: The soldier whose weapon was stolen was summoned for additional testimony

Ahead of the filing of an indictment against the four suspects in the assault on a soldier and the theft of his weapon in Susiya, the soldier who was attacked was summoned today (Monday) to provide additional testimony, at the request of the Military Prosecution.

Upon the conclusion of the interrogation of the suspects and the completion of the required actions, the investigation materials will be transferred to the Military Prosecution. At this stage, a final response regarding the charges is expected, and the security establishment estimates that an indictment will be filed against the four for their actions.

As recalled, about two weeks ago, four terrorists stole a weapon from a soldier on leave in the Hebron Hills area. Immediately after the incident, forces scanned the area, located the stolen weapon, and arrested two terrorists.

In an interview with the "Open Studio," his mother shared the feeling of lost security: "My son arrived at a place where he did not feel he had the right to defend himself. They approached him with threats, beat him, and injured him. Ultimately, he was afraid and did not feel safe using the weapon, which is what could have protected him and prevented everything that happened."
