Military Prosecution

The military prosecution concluded its probe into Brig. Gen. (res.) Israel Shomer over a consensual relationship with a subordinate officer. No criminal indictment is expected, though disciplinary action awaits.

The military prosecution ordered an in-depth command investigation into a senior IDF brigadier general following serious complaints regarding a personal relationship and alleged security violations.

Ahead of the filing of an indictment against the four suspects in the assault on a soldier and the theft of his weapon in Susiya, the soldier who was attacked was summoned today (Monday) to provide additional testimony, at the request of the Military Prosecution.
