MK Yael Ron Ben-Moshe stated on Tuesday that she informed Benny Gantz that she will not participate in the new political framework he is establishing.

"This is one of the most difficult decisions I have made in my life. I made it out of my commitment as a public servant, as a representative of the confrontation line in the north and as a representative of the labor settlement movement, with appreciation and gratitude to Benny," she said.

She noted that in recent weeks, members of the 'Blue and White' (Kachol Lavan) party held ongoing dialogues regarding the political steps Gantz is attempting to lead. Despite detailed discussions involving position papers and strategic analysis, she realized that her attempts to influence Gantz's direction were unsuccessful.

"The new path does not leave the same conceptual space of 'center by definition' that 'Blue and White' was at the beginning of the journey. The effort to create unity is worthy, but in my opinion, in the current way and at this time, the effort might not only be in vain but could even cause damage," she continued.

She highlighted a specific concern regarding the potential formation of a future government:

"The scenario in which some of the members of the new framework will not be willing to join a government that Gadi Eisenkot will seek to establish in order to bring the change that the country needs, is in my eyes a very great risk, and for me a bright red line."
