Tzvika Naveh sues Skler again: demands one million shekels and removal of defamatory posts
The lawsuit concerns six publications from a "smear campaign" conducted by millionaire Alex Skler against Tzvika Naveh, owner of the business intelligence firm CGI, who is married to Skler's ex-wife. This follows a previous 10-million-shekel lawsuit. Skler responds by calling the claims "lies and misrepresentations."
Tzvika Naveh, a private investigator and owner of the business intelligence firm CGI, has filed another lawsuit against millionaire Alex Skler for one million shekels. As part of the filing, Naveh requests a court injunction ordering Skler to immediately remove the publications in question.
"The purpose of this campaign is to make the plaintiff hated by the public, damage his reputation, and discourage Mrs. Skler from asserting her rights," the claim states. The lawsuit is based on torts, negligence, and the Privacy Protection Law.
The subject of the lawsuit is six publications from a "smear campaign" conducted by Skler against Naveh, who is currently married to Skler's ex-wife. This lawsuit is in addition to a previous 10-million-shekel claim that remains ongoing.
The Liri Albag Affair
A central issue in the claim relates to the radio program "Kalman and Liberman" on Reshet Bet, where Skler allegedly claimed that Naveh "took 2 million shekels" from the father of hostage Liri Albag, accusing him of fraud by exploiting the family's distress.
Naveh asserts these allegations are false and intended to humiliate him. He claims the actual amount received was one million shekels and that the initiative came from Mr. Albag, who sought help obtaining a foreign passport for his daughter. Naveh states that when the task proved impossible, he returned the full amount. He also cites various social media profiles allegedly backed by Skler that accused him of scamming the Albag family.
"Aggressive Smear Campaign"
Naveh recounts that the conflict stems from the separation of Skler and his ex-wife, Violetta. A complex legal dispute is underway in Israel and Australia, where Mrs. Skler claims Skler hid significant assets. Naveh alleges that his firm, CGI, uncovered evidence of these hidden assets, leading to personal attacks against him starting in December 2024, when he and Violetta married.
Skler's Response
On behalf of Alex Skler, the response stated: "We are witnessing Tzvika Naveh's standard method—attempting to conduct trials in the press. The lawsuit has not been properly served, and Skler learned of it through media inquiries. Naveh is busy producing lies and misrepresentations. His claims about 'tracking' are defamatory. In court, it will be proven that every word in our campaign is the absolute truth. Skler has a list of people harmed by Naveh who are prepared to testify."
