Israel Railways is stepping up its services ahead of the annual Tel Aviv Night Run, scheduled for Wednesday, to accommodate thousands of participants and ease anticipated road congestion. Additional special trains, standby units, and extended routes will be implemented to ensure smooth and safe passenger transportation.

Special Train Schedule and Route Extensions

To facilitate travel for runners and spectators returning home, several special services will operate from the Tel Aviv University station:

  • Train No. 8188: Departing at approximately 23:00 toward Nahariya, stopping at Herzliya, Netanya, Hadera, and major stations along the northern coastal route.

  • Trains No. 8683 and 8685: Scheduled for 23:05 and 23:15 toward Beersheba Center, serving Holon, Bat Yam, Rishon LeZion, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and southern localities.

  • Train No. 8684: Departing at 23:30 toward Herzliya via the Sharon ring line, covering Bnei Brak, Petah Tikva, Rosh HaAyin, and Kfar Saba.

Furthermore, regular services will be modified. Train No. 53 to Beersheba Center will originate directly from Tel Aviv University at 23:04 instead of Tel Aviv Savidor Center. The route of Train No. 687, departing at 00:32, will be extended all the way to Beersheba Center.

Travel Recommendations

Transport authorities urge attendees to follow station safety guidelines and recommend purchasing a combined daily round-trip ticket. This option offers a significant discount and reduces queue times at ticket counters during peak hours after the event concludes.
