Following appeal by "Yalomei HaKrav": Urgent Knesset discussion on disability recognition procedures for IDF veterans

Following an appeal by the "Yalomei HaKrav" organization to the Knesset, the Labor and Welfare Committee will hold a special and urgent discussion this coming Wednesday regarding the conduct of medical boards and recognition procedures in the Rehabilitation Department of the Ministry of Defense.
"Yalomei HaKrav" raises serious claims regarding the conduct of the medical boards, particularly concerning what they define as a policy of granting temporary disability on a sweeping basis.
According to the organization, IDF veterans are forced to deal with lengthy procedures, repeated boards, and uncertainty regarding their status and rights.

This issue has become particularly significant since the outbreak of the war, following the increase in the number of wounded and those dealing with physical and mental injuries who require recognition procedures and medical boards.
