Star of "The Patriots" reveals the boycott she faced: "Part of the camp"

Communications figure Eirit Linor, who serves as a panelist on the television program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, hosted journalist Guy Meroz on the podcast "Shared Custody" from "Shomer HaSaf".

During the conversation, Linor shared the sense of alienation and lack of acceptance she experienced from colleagues in the media industry following a fundamental shift in her political positions.

"During the reform, I saw all kinds of people I knew going crazy. These were people I knew to be, like, more left-wing than me. They were afraid that a dictatorship would take hold, that they would lose their homes, be forced to cover their heads, and have their children sent to religious-style labor camps. I thought this was not a mental state worth being in, so I suggested meeting with some of them."

Linor recounted an instance where an acquaintance refused to meet, citing the emotional toll of the political climate. Even when Linor offered to meet in a neutral setting, such as a mall in Givatayim, the individual remained hesitant, stating she needed time to think about it.

Later in the discussion, Linor described another case that reflected the same sense of rejection. She encountered a social media post published by a friend, which argued that there are certain people one cannot live alongside. It became clear to Linor that she was being categorized as part of that group.

"Someone I know and really like, a very successful and talented girl... I saw she wrote a post testifying to the fact that there are people you cannot live among, and somehow it emerged that I am part of that camp. I wrote to her: 'Come, let's meet. We know each other; we'll talk.' She said: 'I can't talk to you about anything. On any topic we discuss, I'll only think about the fact that you're part of this camp that destroys everything here.'"
