Ariel Daycare Caregiver Arrested Over Suspected Child Abuse

A 40-year-old caregiver from Samaria working at a private daycare in Ariel was arrested overnight Tuesday on suspicion of abusing a helpless person. Following her interrogation, she was detained in custody and will be brought to court later today for a hearing regarding her case.

The investigation at the Ariel police station was launched after a report was recently received regarding the caregiver's conduct. Investigators obtained security camera footage from the daycare via a court order to examine events.

Preliminary evidence supporting the suspicions was found during the investigation, leading to her arrest. Details regarding the specific acts or the number of affected toddlers have not yet been released as the investigation continues.
