Samaria Teacher Arrested for Terror Incitement and Glorifying Attackers
An IDF and police raid in Samaria led to the arrest of a teacher suspected of systematic incitement and glorifying terrorists, including posts praising attackers and Hamas.

An educator residing in Samaria was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of systematic incitement, supporting a terrorist organization, and glorifying terrorists following social media posts. IDF forces from the Samaria Regional Brigade, operating in coordination with the Judea and Samaria District Police's anti-crime unit, raided the home of the suspect, a teacher in his 30s working at a school in the village of Tell.
According to the investigation, the suspect shared numerous inciting posts over several months, praised terrorist organizations, and expressed support for security prisoners. He notably published a photograph of a monument dedicated to four terrorists who carried out a shooting attack in the agricultural area near Tell, an attack that claimed the lives of Maj. Yuval Ezra and Capt. (res.) Benyahu Melet. Alongside the image, which featured the inscription "Garden of the Martyrs," the suspect wrote: "May Allah have mercy on you, forgive you, accept you, and place you in the heights of His paradise."
In an additional post, he referred to the attackers as "my brothers, my beloved ones, and my cousins, the martyrs who gave their lives on the soil of the homeland, charging forward and never retreating." Furthermore, in the days following the October 7 attacks, he shared an illustration depicting a Hamas operative utilizing a paraglider. Following his interrogation, the suspect was detained, and police intend to request a court extension for his remand to continue investigative proceedings.
