The Tehran municipality newspaper, "Hamshahri", featured a map of Europe marked with red pins representing American and NATO military bases across the continent on Tuesday. The front page headline declared that Iran's armed forces target bank is being updated without geographic limitations, accompanied by the caption "Let's see what happens" in both Persian and English.

The map highlighted 15 bases across the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, and Romania, positioned next to an illustration of an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps officer observing the display. Among the marked facilities is the Fairford base in the United Kingdom, from which American bombers previously departed for operations related to Iran.

The publication follows a directive issued on Saturday by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei instructing military leadership to respond to any threat with immediate, effective, and geographically unrestricted measures. Following the directive, IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohabi announced that the organization had begun identifying new targets and planning operations across expanded geographic sectors.

International security concerns have heightened following recent incidents near European military installations. British authorities arrested five men near the Fairford base in late September, with subsequent legal proceedings initiated against two suspects on charges related to reconnaissance and preparation.
