Seven Teenagers Arrested in Ramla Following Brutal Street Assault

Police arrested seven teenagers on Sunday in Ramla on suspicion of attacking a local man in his twenties in the Neot Shamir neighborhood. Video footage shows the suspects knocking the victim to the ground and kicking him in the head and body for several seconds while a passerby unsuccessfully attempted to intervene. The victim sustained minor injuries in the afternoon assault.

Investigators from the Ramla station quickly identified and located the seven minor suspects, bringing five of them in for questioning. They are scheduled to appear in court on Monday for a remand hearing. Local residents expressed ongoing concerns regarding neighborhood violence, while Ramla Mayor Michael Vidal strongly condemned the brutal incident and called for strict legal consequences.
