The airline Israir, controlled by Rami Levy and Shalom Haim, will convene its shareholders on Thursday to approve an interested party transaction, under which it will acquire 10% of the shares of the Rami Levy club company.

Israir will acquire 10% of the Rami Levy club company for 15 million shekels, in a deal that reflects a valuation of 315 million shekels for the company. The acquisition will be carried out as part of a partnership with Rami Levy and Isracard, with the aim of strengthening the credit club's activity and competing with products such as El Al's Fly Card.

At Israir, they estimate that the point accumulation model and the expansion of the company's operations to new destinations, including the USA, Japan, and Hong Kong, will help increase the number of cardholders and generate millions of dollars in revenue as early as the first year.

Israir CEO Uri Sirkis stated that the main advantages will be transparency in point accumulation and an attractive conversion rate. According to the agreement, points can be redeemed only on Israir flights, with each point being worth one dollar.

The Rami Levy club company, owned by Rami Levy and Isracard, recorded a profit of 15 million shekels in 2025 and has approximately 184,000 credit card holders.
