Memorial events marking 31 years since the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin will open tomorrow at the Rabin Center in Tel Aviv, amid controversy over government representation. Education Minister Yoav Kisch announced he will not attend due to scheduling conflicts, with the ministry's director-general also pulling out at the last minute.

State memorial ceremonies will be held at the President's Residence and Mount Herzl, featuring addresses by President Isaac Herzog, Dalia Rabin, and Jonathan Ben Artzi. Minister Gila Gamliel will represent the government at the events.

For the fourth consecutive year, no government representative is scheduled to speak at the official state memorial ceremony on Mount Herzl. The last prime minister to address the ceremony was Yair Lapid, prior to the formation of the current coalition.
