Noam Amir against Alma Zack: "You are the mother of all things political"

A media storm has erupted following a left-wing initiative seeking to fly Israeli citizens living abroad to Israel on election day. Our correspondent Noam Amir launched a sharp attack on Wednesday against "Eretz Nehederet" star, comedian Alma Zack, following a video she published in which she presented the move as an "a-political" initiative aimed at encouraging democratic participation.

In his remarks, Amir addressed Zack directly and questioned the motives behind the move:

"Of course it's a-political. Of course all that worries you is enabling Israelis who decided to leave the country and live abroad to return to the democratic celebration and decide who will manage the country they themselves do not want to live in."

He added that her attempts to present the activity as lacking political affiliation do not reflect reality.

Amir sharpened his tone and pointed an accusing finger at Zack's past statements from podcasts and protests:

"You care about democracy and the hostages, but when you dig a little deeper into the archives, you discover that this a-political stance comes from somewhere else – you are simply disgusted by our country."

In conclusion, Amir clarified that while mobilizing for a public position is legitimate, attempting to disguise it is out of place:

"It is completely fine that you have something to say and it is most logical that you would rally to the flag, but you are the mother of all things political. The only question that remains is – why are you ashamed of it?"
