"Netanyahu, we fixed it for you": Likud threatens to petition against the Yashar party following the editing of a campaign sign

A new confrontation between Likud and Gadi Eizenkot's Yashar party erupted this evening (Sunday), after Eizenkot's party published an edited version of a sign from the Likud campaign on social media. Following the publication, Likud's legal advisor, Adv. Ilan Bombach, sent a warning letter to the party and demanded its removal, while threatening to turn to the Central Elections Committee.
In the original Likud campaign, several figures were presented alongside the message "They want Netanyahu to lose, don't let them win." The Yashar party took the sign, edited it digitally, and changed the text to "They want the IDF to collapse, don't let Netanyahu win." The post was accompanied by the message: "Netanyahu, we fixed it for you. Only Eizenkot will establish a full-fledged Zionist conscription government."
Likud claims that the use of the sign identified with the party's campaign and its distribution after being edited constitutes illegal election propaganda. The warning letter demanded that Yashar remove the advertisement from all media outlets and social networks where it was published and stop using it.
Likud's deadline: tomorrow at noon
Likud set a deadline for Eizenkot's party to remove the publications by tomorrow (Monday) at 12:00. If the demand is not met, the party threatens to turn to the chairman of the Central Elections Committee and request an order to prevent the continued distribution of the campaign.
The confrontation between the two parties comes in the midst of the election campaign, as the issue of conscription and service in the IDF has become one of the central topics in the campaigns. Yashar seeks to position Eizenkot around the message of establishing a "Zionist conscription government," while Likud positions Netanyahu against his rivals in the country and against Israel's enemies as part of its central campaign messages.
