Max Stock Wins National Employer Award for Integrating Workers with Disabilities
Max Stock wins the Ilan Gilon Award for national employer excellence, recognizing the integration of 118 workers with disabilities across its branches over five years.

Max Stock will receive the prestigious Ilan Gilon Award from the 'ALYN Israel' association in the national employer category. The award recognizes the company's ongoing partnership, creation of employment opportunities, and commitment to equal and respectful hiring practices.
Award Ceremony and Legacy
The festive ceremony will take place on Wednesday, December 16, 2026, starting at 12:00 at Expo Tel Aviv, in the presence of the family of the late former Knesset member Ilan Gilon. Over the past five years, 118 service recipients from the association's employment programs have been integrated into the chain's branches across the country.
Gilon, who served as a Knesset member for Meretz, was renowned for his parliamentary and public advocacy for social justice and the rights of people with disabilities. Following his passing in 2022, ALYN Israel established the annual social excellence award to honor his legacy.
Leadership Statements
'The award winners prove that real social change happens everywhere. The equal integration of people with disabilities is not a gesture of goodwill, but a basic right,' said Margalit Piller, CEO of ALYN Israel.
Uri Max, founder and CEO of Max Stock, added: 'At Max Stock, we place supreme importance on integrating people with disabilities into the labor market and our chain in particular. We welcome our long-standing partnership with ALYN Israel.'
Established in 2004, Max Stock currently operates 65 branches from Kiryat Shmona to Eilat, employing approximately 2,500 workers.
