Mark Zuckerberg Upgrades Meta: Changes Coming to Your Accounts
Meta is integrating its AI assistant into private Threads messages and launching new autonomous capabilities to manage calendar and email tasks without requiring repeated instructions.

Meta continues to expand the availability of Meta AI in Israel, and it is now arriving on Threads. The tech giant has announced that Meta AI on Threads will be available within private messages (DMs).
This update allows for one-on-one conversations, enabling users to ask questions about trends, posts, or topics appearing in the feed, receive real-time information, or request recommendations without posting publicly. Meta management stated that the update will be rolled out gradually over the coming weeks.
Recently, the tech company led by Mark Zuckerberg announced significant changes to Meta AI, its smart virtual assistant. The company introduced a series of new capabilities based on the Muse Spark 1.1 model, which allow for task planning, integration with applications such as email and calendar, and the execution of actions on behalf of users.
From now on, the AI assistant can perform tasks automatically and maintain them after they have been set, without the need for repeated instructions. For example, you can ask it to prepare a training plan for a half-marathon; it will build the plan, adapt it to your schedule, and send the updated training plan every week automatically.
You can also ask it to plan a birthday dinner based on calendar availability. Furthermore, you can set recurring tasks, such as receiving a weekly meal plan, daily updates based on your calendar, or ongoing reports on topics of interest. Meta AI can also identify changes or conflicts in your schedule and update accordingly.
