Louis Hotels Issues Urgent Phishing Warning Amid Wave of Scams
Louis Hotels has issued an urgent phishing warning to guests across Cyprus and Greece after fraudulent messages attempted to steal personal and financial data. The Mediterranean chain remains highly popular among Israeli travelers.

Louis Hotels, a prominent Mediterranean hospitality chain operating across Cyprus and the Greek islands, has issued an urgent warning to its guests following a wave of phishing scams. The fraudulent messages, sent to travelers and customers, attempt to extract personal information, payment details, and reservation data by impersonating the company.
According to the hotel chain, management has clarified that it has no connection to these communications and urged guests to remain highly vigilant. Customers are advised not to reply to the messages, refrain from clicking on attached links, and under no circumstances disclose personal or financial information.
In addition to blocking the senders and reporting the activity, Louis Hotels emphasizes that guests should rely solely on official communication channels or authorized travel agents for inquiries and updates. Individuals who have already shared credit card details or authorized payments following suspicious messages are urged to contact their banks or credit card providers immediately to block unauthorized charges.
The hotel group operates properties in major Mediterranean destinations including Paphos, Protaras, Limassol, and Nicosia in Cyprus, as well as popular Greek islands such as Crete, Corfu, Rhodes, Mykonos, and Zakynthos. The portfolio includes family-friendly all-inclusive resorts, adults-only boutique hotels, and private villas, making the brand particularly popular among Israeli travelers.
In 2025, approximately 16,000 Israeli tourists stayed at Louis Hotels properties, marking a 41 percent surge in guest volume and a 31 percent increase in total overnight stays. Reflecting this growing demand, the company regards Israel as a key target market and actively tailors vacation packages for the Israeli public.
Accommodation rates across the chain vary by season and destination, with couples paying roughly 120 to 180 euros per night during shoulder seasons on a bed-and-breakfast basis, and 200 to 350 euros per night during peak summer months, scaling up to 500 euros or more at luxury resorts. For families of four, all-inclusive resort packages with water parks range from 180 to 280 euros per night in shoulder seasons, climbing to 320 to 550 euros per night in July and August, while private villas command between 300 and 600 euros or more per night.
