Employment Service Announces Large-Scale Recruitment of Thousands of Workers
In collaboration with the Central Elections Committee, a major recruitment drive for logistics, ushering, and support roles will begin in about a week, connecting national staffing needs with job seekers across the country.
The Director General of the Employment Service and the Acting Director General of the Central Elections Committee met this week and agreed that the Employment Service will assist in recruiting and placing thousands of workers across the country for a wide range of positions.
During the meeting, it was agreed that to ensure full representation of all segments of the population in the election process, special emphasis will be placed on people with disabilities, those evacuated due to the security situation, and those affected by recent combat operations. Recruitment will be conducted through various channels, including a dedicated website jointly managed by the Employment Service and the Central Elections Committee.
To ensure the proper conduct of election day, a recruitment process for thousands of workers will begin in about a week, including ushers, logistics personnel, and technical support staff, drawing from job seekers registered with the Employment Service.
Director General of the Employment Service, Inbal Meshash, stated:
"The cooperation with the Central Elections Committee is an opportunity to connect a significant national need with thousands of job seekers across the country. The Employment Service will make its knowledge, tools, and national reach available for this initiative to quickly locate and place suitable workers. We are placing special emphasis on integrating populations in need of employment opportunities, based on the concept that a strong labor market and a proper democratic process rely on the broad participation of all parts of society."
Acting Director General of the Central Elections Committee, Adv. Din Livne, noted:
"The election system relies first and foremost on the people who operate it on the ground. The cooperation with the Employment Service is a significant pillar in the national effort to recruit tens of thousands of workers who will serve polling stations across the country. We are working to ensure that every polling station is staffed with professional, skilled personnel so that every citizen can exercise their right to vote in a proper, accessible, and reliable manner."
