Right-wing government in danger? The sharp warning from the Coalition Chairman

Coalition Chairman, MK Ofir Katz from the Likud party, addressed today (Sunday) in an interview with Boaz Golan the phenomenon of small right-wing parties emerging ahead of the 26th Knesset elections, and leveled sharp criticism:

"These are right-wing votes that will be lost — they will watch from home as the left forms a government."

According to him, the left-wing parties missed the previous Knesset elections by losing over 100,000 votes due to "ego games," "and now, as it looks at the moment, it is going to happen to us, in our camp." Katz further emphasized that "if this happens, we are talking here about a small number of mandates — but they will determine the elections."

Katz also noted that he is certain that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will intervene in the phenomenon "and much more strongly — and I think it is also really critical for the elections." MK Katz warned against the scenario where the national camp's votes are scattered:

"If this happens and they remain here with ego and there are 9,000 such parties here — these are votes that will be lost, so they will shout 'right, right', but they will watch the left on the television at home as it forms a government, and they will remain with their ego at home and we will suffer for four years."

We recall that in the background of these things stands, among others, the new right-wing party of the outgoing MK Sharren Haskel. Only one day after announcing her resignation from the Knesset, she revealed that she is heading the "Israel First" party, which arrived after a mysterious digital campaign under the title "The Right Opens Its Eyes."
